Unique exhibition with artistic opening ceremony
In May, 2018, Capital Media, in collaboration with the Chinese International Cultural Communication Center organized one of the most unique art exhibitions ever hosted in Finland. It was the first time rare ancient and contemporary original Thangka paintings from China were shown in Finland. Thangka, a Tibetan Buddhist painting on cotton or silk applique, is considered a treasure in traditional Chinese art, depicting Buddhist deities, scenes, and mandalas.
